Job Description and Responsibilities

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a School Psychologist to join a collaborative school team in Warren, Michigan for the . This full-time, on-site position serves students from PreK through 12th grade and focuses on supporting student success through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, eligibility determination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
About the Position
  • Full-time schedule (36 hours per week)
  • 2026-2027 school year (August through May/June)
  • On-site assignment in Warren, MI
  • Supporting students across PreK-12
  • Manageable caseloads
  • Guaranteed paid hours, including documentation, planning, and administrative responsibilities
  • Ongoing support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds team
Key Responsibilities

As a School Psychologist, you'll play an integral role in helping students access the educational supports they need by:
  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
  • Participating in eligibility determinations and diagnostic decision-making for special education services.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, therapists, and administrators to develop appropriate educational recommendations.
  • Contributing to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while ensuring services align with student needs.
  • Providing consultation to school teams regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.
  • Delivering student services in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines.
  • Maintaining timely documentation, evaluation reports, and compliance with state and federal special education requirements.

Compensation
  • $60-$95+ per hour, depending on experience
  • Estimated weekly earnings of $2,160-$3,420+

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • NASP License (preferred but not required)
  • State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
  • 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance


Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
