Job Description and ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time, Hybrid role as a
School Psychologist serving a school located in
Le Seur, MN. The
School Psychologist will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating and eligibility processes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents), supporting students according to their IEP. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details- Full-time school-based opportunity with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule
- Hybrid assignment serving students across Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, determine eligibility for special education services, provide consultation to educators and families, and support diagnostic and intervention planning
- Complete approximately 75 evaluations annually
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, develop recommendations, and provide a full range of school psychology services
- Guaranteed paid hours include evaluations, documentation, report writing, planning, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
- Manageable workload designed to support high-quality student services
- Ongoing collaboration and support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team
- $65-$85+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of approximately $2,437-$3,187+
RequirementsQualifications- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- NASP License (preferred but not required)
- State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
- 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
Physical RequirementsWorking and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities,
