Pay Range:$68-75/hr
Job Description:Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist to provide leave coverage in Redmond, Washington, for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be divided evenly between an elementary school and a secondary school.

- Hours: Up to 7.5 paid hours per day and 37.5 hours per week
- Required Trainings: Full-day trainings on October 16, 2026, and March 12, 2027
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions and student supports
- Assist school teams with behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns
- Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility and programming
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state, federal, and district requirements
- Coordinate responsibilities and services across both assigned school campuses
Qualifications
- Master's or educational specialist degree in school psychology
- Current Washington State license and appropriate school psychologist certification
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility requirements
- Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities effectively across two school sites
- Ability to work in person at the assigned campuses
- Availability to attend both required full-day trainings
