Position Details:
  • Full-Time
  • 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday
  • Immediate start date through remainder of 26-27 SY


What You'll Do
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students
  • Support students with social-emotional learning, behavior, and mental health needs
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
  • Participate in student support team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Develop and implement interventions to improve student success and well-being
  • Assist students with conflict resolution, self-advocacy, and coping skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate


What We're Looking For
  • Active (or eligible) South Carolina educator certification in School Counseling (PK-12)
  • Master's degree in School Counseling or a related approved counseling program from an accredited college or university
  • Completion of an approved school counselor preparation program
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • School-based counseling experience preferred, not required


Benefits apply to 0.8 FTE and above after a short waiting period.
