Bring Your Clinical BCBA Skills Into a School Setting, Without Leaving ABA Behind
We're a Colorado Department of Education (CDE)-authorized facility school serving students with Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental or behavioral needs who benefit from a smaller,
highly individualized educational environment.
Our model brings together Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), along with Speech,
Occupational, and Physical Therapy, to create one integrated program.
For a BCBA coming from a clinical ABA setting, this role offers a unique transition into education without
stepping away from the work you love. You'll continue using your clinical expertise in functional
assessment, behavior programming, data analysis, staff coaching, and intensive behavioral support -
while your Special Education Teacher takes the lead on academic and skill-acquisition programming.

This position is ideal for a BCBA who loves the clinical side of ABA but is interested in transitioning into a
school-based setting.
You'll bring the individualized, data-driven approach of an ABA clinic into a school environment while
working alongside a Special Education Teacher who brings expertise in curriculum, academics, IEP
instruction, and educational programming.

Time to observe, analyze data, collaborate, coach staff, and make meaningful program changes.What You'll Do
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized, evidence-based
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student IEPs.
Lead behavior programming, functional communication programming, and replacement-skill
development.
Analyze behavioral data and make ongoing, data-driven modifications to programming.
Oversee treatment integrity and implementation of behavioral supports throughout the school
day.
Provide hands-on modeling, coaching, and feedback to Instructional Assistants and other school
staff.
Support crisis prevention and response using trauma-assumed, safety-focused practices.
Collaborate with the Special Education Teacher while maintaining distinct areas of expertise: the
teacher leads academics and skill acquisition while the BCBA leads behavioral assessment and
programming.
Participate in IEP development and interdisciplinary student planning.
Maintain documentation required by BACB, state, and school standards.
What We're Looking For
Master's degree and current BCBA certification.
2+ years of experience supporting children with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or
significant behavioral needs (preferred)
Clinical ABA experience is welcomed - school-based experience is not required.
Strong skills in functional assessment, behavior intervention, data analysis, and staff coaching.
Interest in learning or expanding knowledge of IEPs and school-based service delivery.
Ability to collaborate closely with educators and related-service providers.
Calm, ethical, flexible, and compassionate approach to student behavior and staff support.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
