Occupational Therapist and support students in developing greater independence, confidence, and success in the classroom this school year.
Position Overview - Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward individualized goals.
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility and recommend appropriate supports and interventions.
- Provide MTSS and IEP support while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and skill development.
- Consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.
Qualifications - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills
