Full Job Description
Scheduler - Airport Terminal Construction Project Kwame Building Group (KBG) is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the successful delivery of a new airport terminal construction project. This position will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, analyzing, and communicating the project schedule to ensure construction activities, milestones, and deliverables remain on track. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large, complex construction projects, preferably within aviation, airport terminal, transportation, or major infrastructure environments, and will be comfortable working with project managers, contractors, designers, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for the new airport terminal construction project. • Create and manage baseline schedules, master schedules, milestone schedules, and short-term look-ahead schedules. • Coordinate with project management, design, construction, and contractor teams to obtain schedule updates and verify progress. • Monitor critical path activities, milestones, procurement, design deliverables, construction sequencing, commissioning, and project closeout activities. • Analyze schedule performance and identify delays, conflicts, constraints, and potential impacts to project completion. • Perform critical path method (CPM) schedule analysis and provide recommendations for mitigating schedule risks and delays. • Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for accuracy, completeness, logic, sequencing, and compliance with project requirements. • Evaluate schedule changes, time extensions, recovery schedules, and delay impacts. • Prepare schedule reports, progress updates, dashboards, and presentations for project leadership and stakeholders. • Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule status, upcoming milestones, risks, and areas requiring management attention. • Work closely with project controls personnel to integrate scheduling information with cost, change management, and overall project reporting. • Maintain accurate schedule documentation and historical records throughout the project lifecycle. • Support development and review of recovery and acceleration plans when required. • Assist project leadership with forecasting completion dates and evaluating alternative construction sequencing. • Perform additional project controls and scheduling responsibilities as required.
