Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay solution design and deployment within the Helix program.

  • Design and implement procurement processes including requisitioning, sourcing, and supplier collaboration.
  • Define and configure direct and indirect procurement scenarios for various materials and services.
  • Oversee cross-functional integrations with Inventory Management, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Manage team coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management throughout the project.
  • Challenge customizations and advocate for standard SAP procurement solutions.

Full Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

- 10+ years of SAP Materials Management and procurement experience, including 7+ years in Procure-to-Pay and strategic sourcing processes.

- Minimum three full-cycle SAP implementations, including at least two SAP S/4HANA Procurement implementations.

- Strong expertise in direct, indirect, service, and project procurement using purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and scheduling agreements.

- Hands-on configuration experience with purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, document types, release strategies/workflows, source determination, pricing, account assignment, and output management.

- Experience with subcontracting, consignment, stock transport orders, third-party procurement, returns, intercompany procurement, and evaluated receipt settlement.

- Strong knowledge of supplier, material, purchasing info record, source list, quota arrangement, and business partner master data.

- Experience with S/4HANA flexible workflow, Fiori procurement applications, approval design, situation handling, and embedded analytics.

- Strong integration experience with Inventory Management, EWM, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, Finance, and Accounts Payable.

- Experience with invoice verification, GR/IR, tax and payment-relevant data, blocked invoice resolution, and three-way match processes.

- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying and Invoicing, Business Network, or other supplier platforms is preferred.

- Experience supporting data migration, interfaces, functional specifications, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate, global template deployment, procurement controls, and process standardization.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay and sourcing solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization for the Helix transformation program.

- Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops and translate business requirements into scalable global procurement process designs.

- Design requisitioning, sourcing, contract, purchase order, receiving, service entry, invoice verification, and supplier collaboration processes.

- Define direct material, indirect material, service, project, subcontracting, consignment, stock transport, and intercompany procurement scenarios.

- Configure procurement organizational structures, document types, item categories, account assignments, pricing procedures, source determination, tolerances, and output management.

- Design approval processes using S/4HANA flexible workflows, including agent determination, escalations, substitutions, and exception handling.

- Define supplier and purchasing master data requirements, governance rules, migration objects, validation controls, and data quality measures.

- Own cross-functional integration with Inventory Management, EWM, PP, QM, PM/EAM, PS, Finance, Controlling, Accounts Payable, and tax processes.

- Coordinate integration with SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network, supplier portals, catalog providers, EDI, BTP, and other external procurement platforms.

- Guide functional specifications, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, security roles, and Fiori applications.

- Define procurement controls, segregation-of-duties considerations, audit requirements, approval limits, and exception-monitorin g processes.

- Lead test planning, defect resolution, deployment readiness, mock cutovers, production cutover, hypercare, and transition to support.

- Coordinate onshore and offshore teams, manage dependencies and risks, and communicate decisions and progress to business and program stakeholders.

- Proactively challenge unnecessary customizations and guide stakeholders toward standard, sustainable SAP procurement capabilities.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

- Strong leadership, ownership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

- Ability to lead global design workshops and align Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and technology teams.

- Experience coordinating onshore and offshore teams in a large, multi-site transformation program.

- Strong governance, risk management, decision facilitation, and issue-resolution skills.

- Ability to mentor team members and maintain accountability for solution quality, schedule, compliance, and business outcomes.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 a year
