SAP Organizational Change Management Leader

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) team is looking for a SAP Organizational Change Management Leader to join the team in Everett, WA or Auburn, WA.

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Leader to guide and manage Business/Function organizational change across BCA functions impacted by the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation (e.g. major process redesigns and technology implementation).

The OCM Lead develops and executes change strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, minimize resistance, and accelerate attainment of business benefits. This role identifies and mitigates change risks, addresses capability and resource gaps, and fosters stakeholder commitment to new processes and ways of working.

In coordination with the OCM leaders for each function, this role will have overall OCM responsibility across the BCA SAP program. The program is expected to run multiple years and will position you for future opportunities across BCA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Program OCM strategy, roadmap and work plan: Align OCM initiatives to business goals and program timelines; create and maintain OCM roadmap, RACI, and work plan; recommend timing and sequencing of OCM activities and deliverables
  • Stakeholder analysis and engagement plans: Identify stakeholders and run engagement campaigns (sponsor briefings, leader coaching, employee forums)
  • Approve or recommend approval for project and OCM milestones and closures
  • Coordinate resource allocation across Program and Business OCM teams
  • Communicate plans, templates and campaign assets: Socialize and validate OCM artifacts with Business Leads and sponsors; distribute templates and playbooks; provide coaching to OCM practitioners; Run weekly OCM program syncs and cross-team communication touchpoints
  • Oversee data migration and conversion plans; ultimately accountable for ensuring data is ready and converted
  • Coordinate training; ensure completeness of training plan, execution of plan, and effectiveness of training
  • Complete weekly status reports, risk & issue logs, and adoption/proficiency dashboards: Report on change progress, risks, adoption, and readiness to governance forums


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' experience working with or within operations, supply chain, and/or quality organizations
  • 3+ years' experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry
  • 3+ years' experience of large-scale transformation and change initiatives in a complex, global organization
  • Experience in collaborating cross-functionally (engineering, program management, modification team, and/or finance) and across multiple business units (BDS, BGS, Field Operations, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, supply chain, finance or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to organizational reactions
  • Experience with ERP implementations (SAP preferred)
  • Familiar with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices
  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required
