Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Materials Management Architect with 15+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, and Material Valuation processes. The role will provide functional leadership across SAP MM and ensure effective integration with other core SAP modules and related procurement solutions, including SAP Ariba.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business workshops to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design optimized Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Design and support Inventory Management and Material Valuation processes.
• Configure SAP MM organizational structures, master data, pricing schemas, and Consumption-Based Planning in alignment with industry best practices.
• Ensure seamless data flow and integration between SAP MM and core SAP modules including FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM.
• Lead testing activities by preparing test scripts, executing unit tests, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting data migration activities.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex incidents and functional issues.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical ABAP teams.
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal testing teams, and technical developers.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance throughout SAP MM implementation and support activities.
Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) and related procurement processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM.
• Strong experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Strong experience with Inventory Management and Material Valuation.
• Experience configuring SAP MM organizational structures, master data, pricing schemas, and Consumption-Based Planning.
• Strong experience integrating SAP MM with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM.
• Experience with SAP Ariba.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, UAT, and data migration activities.
• Experience troubleshooting complex SAP MM issues and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and functional leadership skills.
