In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill and Experience

End to End Solution Architecture
• Own the overall SAP logistics and transportation solution architecture spanning:
o SAP MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, STOs)
o SAP LE TRA (Shipment creation, execution, freight settlement)
o SAP S/4HANA SD (Order to Cash, Secondary Skill)
o Enterprise Transportation Management System (any leading TMS software- SAP TMS, BY TMS, Oracle TMS)

o Customer order to delivery and final shipment to customer
o Procurement and internal stock movements
o Delivery, shipment, carrier execution
o Billing, freight settlement, and financial posting
• Define clear functional and system boundaries between SAP modules, boundary applications, and TMS to avoid duplication, ensure clean ownership, and simplify operations.
Procurement, Inventory & MM Integration
• Design MM and Inventory Management integrations with LE and TMS, including:
o Procurement flows and inbound logistics
o Stock transfers (STO) and intercompany movements
o Inventory visibility across plants, storage locations, and distribution centers
o Customer order and STO to outbound logistics, shipment
• Ensure clean linkage between MM, WM/EWM (where applicable), LE TRA, and TMS.
• Support network and inventory optimization initiatives across hubs, 3PL, 4PL, DCs, and consolidation centers.

High Value Program Leadership
• Provide architecture leadership for multi year, multi million dollar global transformation programs.
• Support discovery, blueprinting, rollout, and stabilization phases with strong architectural governance.

Agile Delivery & Architecture Governance
• Act as the architecture authority within Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
• Translate business epics across MM, LE, SD, ARIBA SCC and TMS into architecture ready features and solution designs.
• Balance incremental delivery with long term architecture sustainability and roadmap alignment.

Integration & Data Architecture
• Define and govern integration architecture across SAP modules (MM, WM, eWM, LE, SD), TMS, carriers, 3PLs, Middleware and external platforms.
• Oversee EDI, API, and event driven integrations for orders, deliveries, shipments, freight, and invoices.
• Establish master data governance across customers, materials, routes, carriers, rates, and locations.

Vendor & SI Governance
• Provide architectural leadership and assurance for System Integrators and technology vendors.
• Review and approve:
o Solution Design Documents (SDD)
o Technical Design Documents (TDD)
o Integration, migration, and rollout strategies
• Ensure SI proposals and solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, and commercial commitments.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, IT leadership, and executive sponsors.
• Support executive forums (SteerCo, design councils, investment reviews) with clear architectural recommendations.
• Communicate complex SAP and logistics architectures to both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Skill and Experience

Core Experience
• Experience in SAP Logistics and Supply Chain solutions
• Strong experience as a Solution Architect for global SAP and logistics programs
• Deep hands on expertise in:
o SAP MM (procurement, inventory, STOs)
o SAP LE TRA
o Inbound, outbound delivery, EDI 856, 214, 940, 945, Shipment, shipment cost documents
o Enterprise TMS platforms (any leading TMS software)

Domain & Industry Expertise
• End to end Procure to Pay, Inventory management, Order to cash integration
• Global transportation and logistics execution
• Cross border and intercompany logistics
• Freight rating, audit, settlement, and financial integration
• Network optimization, DCs, consolidation hubs, and distribution models

Delivery & Leadership
• Proven experience delivering programs using Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies
• Strong experience leading multi vendor, globally distributed teams
• Solid governance, risk management, and decision making skills

Technical & Architectural Skills
• SAP S/4HANA architecture across MM, EM, LE, SD, Middleware (PI/PO, Seeburger), and boundary application
• Integration patterns using APIs, EDI, and event based messaging
• Cloud and hybrid integration understanding
• Strong knowledge of non functional requirements (performance, scalability, resiliency)

Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
