Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP (System Analysis Program) Data Migration Developer to join our team. This is a remote position.

The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) uses the ABAP development stack to develop end user business applications. You would guide product direction and strategy ensuring migration readiness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Modifying software systems based upon detailed software specifications and designs.
  • Using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and understandable.
  • Designing, coding, and testing functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
  • Developing project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
  • Producing database extracts to support system data requirements and reporting.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' experience in SAP ABAP S/4HANA with emphasis on retail, FI (AR/AP/GL/FM), SMART Forms, and SAP scripts.
  • Experience working across a large team to drive deliverables with excellent communication skills, proven in relations with teammates as well as with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Must possess a current Security+ certificate.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
  • Good knowledge of SAP technologies (BTP, S/4HANA, ABAP) and data management practices
  • Familiarity with event driven architectures and security best practices.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.


The projected compensation range for this position is $75,800.00-$127,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
