The Opportunity:


As a senior SAP analyst supporting Project Manager Soldier Warrior within the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground, you will directly contribute to the Army’s mission to design, deliver, and sustain integrated warfighting capabilities at the squad level. Our team plays a key role in enabling the rapid modernization of soldier borne systems, sensors, mission command tools, protection technologies, and other critical combat capabilities that ensure overmatch in contested environments. By supporting the financial, logistics, and procurement backbone that underpins these modernization efforts, you help ensure that every program and product from advanced body armor to soldier worn sensors and next generation lethality systems is resourced, executed, and sustained with accuracy, speed, and full auditability.

The person in this role will serve as a GFEBS and LMP SAP Analyst supporting Project Manager Soldier Warrior in a high tempo acquisition and modernization environment. This role is for an experienced ERP practitioner capable of immediately executing the day-to-day workload associated with Army financial systems, procurement workflows, supply chain interfaces, and audit readiness requirements. You will apply hands on expertise with GFEBS, LMP, and SAP Financials and Asset Management modules to resolve IDOC interface errors, correct financial postings, eliminate unmatched transactions and ULOs, reconcile payroll related discrepancies, and ensure that procurement actions such as WBS creation, sales orders, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and military interdepartmental purchase requests are processed accurately and on time. Your work strengthens Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground’s ability to rapidly deliver integrated soldier level capabilities by maintaining the data integrity, financial compliance, and system synchronization required to support fast acquisition cycles, reliable sustainment, and enterprise-wide modernization.


Responsibilities:


• Provides general knowledge and "hands on" experience using the Army’s General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and the Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software/databases or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms
• Provides assistance in analyzing and resolving issues related to Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Financials (FI), and Asset Management (AM) and GFEBS transaction codes
• Provides assistance in resolving SAP IDOC errors for various financial and supply chain interfaces which include GPC Purchase cards, DTS, Purchase Requisition, and Purchase Orders; additionally, resolves unmatched transactions and ULO’s
• Provides analysis of civilian payroll postings and facilitates corrections of erroneous budget postings
• Provides assistance and support for Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives
• Evaluates and resolves DCPS and ATAAPS errors upon the completion of GFEBS Payroll execution each pay period
• Prepares WBS, sales orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests

Required:


• Bachelor’s degree with appropriate SAP certifications
•  6+ years’ of directly relevant experience
•  5+ years’ experience reviewing and processing incoming Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations and vouchers and managing submission to Government personnel for validation.
•  Experience preparing documentation to recommend appropriate funding alignment to Lines of Accounting in DTS, managing multiple appropriations
• Has experience and knowledge of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Financial Management Regulations (FMR), and Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) regulations.
•  Highly proficient in the use of the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) and the Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software
• Experience processing and auditing invoices, bills, and vouchers on behalf of the U.S. Government
