Enterprise Horizon Consulting group is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer with an active Secret clearance to join our team and support our DOD customer in Aberdeen, MD. The SAP ABAP developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom SAP solutions using ABAP programming. This role collaborates closely with functional consultants and end users to support business processes, enhance standard functionality, and develop customer reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements across various SAP modules.
Key responsibilities include design, code, test, and deploy custom SAP programs using ABAP including classical and object-oriented ABAP. The role expectations include collaboration with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and provision of technical solutions. The developer documents all technical designs and maintains development logs per change management protocols. Performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshoot of ABAP programs is a key function in this role.
Location: This position is on-site Monday-Friday in Aberdeen, MD.
RequirementsRequired: - Active Secret Clearance required
- Ability to work on-site in Aberdeen, MD
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of ABAP Development experience
- Progressive experience from work as a systems analyst or programmer on various system configurations to leadership advisory roles
- Security+ certification preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
