We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Administrator and Release Management Specialist for a Salesforce Digital Transformation Center (DTC). The DTC is an operational Center of Excellence that manages a multi-org Salesforce environment in which program areas throughout our federal client’s organization build mission applications. The platform includes most of Salesforce’s products including Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data360, Agentforce, Shield, Own Backup, Tableau, and Mulesoft. The DTC manages the platform and supports its tenant customer application teams.
This position requires the administration of mid-to-large-sized Salesforce orgs, deploying configuration changes through a CI/CD pipeline, supporting security assessments, maintaining governance documentation, and identifying, analyzing, and managing business and technical requirements for federal government projects. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of driving tasks to completion and is self-motivated, driven, and understands multiple technologies (Salesforce, Docusign, Own Backup, Jira, GitHub) capabilities.
What you’ll be doing:
Administer a multi-org Salesforce environment to include functions such as user administration, troubleshooting, report generation, data loading, data backup and recovery, managing integrations with SSO, Outlook, Docusign, etc.
Declarative configuration of Salesforce applications and Experience Cloud sites, set up of related platform enabling and security services, and deploying using GitHub.
Assisting Architects with Design and Code Reviews.
Handle O&M cases for tenant app teams that often require advanced administrator skills to include SSO setup, certificate rotation, custom domain management, reestablishment of connected services after sandbox refreshes, Data Loader activities, interaction with network teams, etc.
Support Incident Response activities in accordance with contractual SLAs.
Manage the Digital Transformation Center Governance Library through creating and updating process/procedure/policy documents.
Support the Government ATO annual assessments through security package updates and providing audit responses.
Assist with the management and execution of program operations using tools such as Salesforce, Jira, and a suite of Microsoft productivity tools.
Work with government stakeholders to guide them through the Salesforce CoE processes, assisting with planning, deliverable tracking, and meeting minutes.
Assist in analyzing and documenting client's business requirements and processes; communicate these requirements to technical and non-technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models.
Assist in the research and assessment of business goals, objectives, and needs to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Recommend ways to enhance and increase the efficiency of DTC operations and tool sets, and then implement them.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
0 to 1 year of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
0 to 1 year of experience with Salesforce-centric release management using GitHub and/or other DevOps tools.
0 to 1 year of experience with programmatic coding and the ability to interpret and troubleshoot code from other developers.
0 to 1 year of experience presenting demos or technical briefings with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must achieve an active Salesforce Administrator certification within the first 6 months.
US Citizenship or Green Card status is required due to federal contract requirements.
The ability to obtain a Public-Trust clearance from the federal government.
Residence in the United States with the ability to support US Eastern time zone work hours between 8 am and 6 pm.
Desired Skills:
Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
Experience with complementary systems to Salesforce applications such as Docusign, Own Backup, AppExchange packages, GitHub, Copado, etc.
Experience with newer Salesforce products such as Agentforce and Data 360.
Experience or education in Cyber Security principles and how to apply them to enterprise software applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Commitment to providing quality, polished work deliverables with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with only high-level guidance.
Ability to work well under constantly changing deadlines and priorities.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
