Job DescriptionResponsible for reviewing and/or negotiating Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan documents, while protecting the bank's interest, and providing management of a loan portfolio from the time the loans are approved until pay-off or maturity. The CRE Administrator serves as an integral member of the deal team, functioning as an account manager for commercial real estate loan portfolios, ensuring strong risk management, operational excellence, and a high level of client service across the loan lifecycle. This role supports a variety of complex loan products including construction and term loans, secured and unsecured borrowing base lines of credit, subscription lines, and other commercial lending structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans through all lifecycle stages including new originations, renewals, extensions, and annual reviews
- Partner with Relationship Managers, credit analysts, product partners, and clients to support deal execution and ongoing portfolio management
- Maintain and monitor due diligence documentation, loan covenants, and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support regulatory and operational processes including KYC requirements, flood certifications, and loan documentation standards
- Use systems such as nCino, AFS, and LIQ along with reporting to manage loan data, track performance, and prioritize workload
- Balance competing priorities and deadlines, delivering high-quality service during high-volume periods such as closings, month-end, and quarter-end cycles
This role requires working from Tempe, Az three (3) or more days per week with a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule.Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public
- Five to seven or more years experience in CRE loan administration
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Advanced level of knowledge in all areas of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending including, but not limited to, letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
- Strong technical expertise in the closing and loan management functions
- Demonstrated ability to close complex CRE loans and manage a CRE loan portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of CRE finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
