Full Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Manager to develop and expand customer relationships in the enclosure systems and related products market. This leader will manage the commercial strategy, pricing, quoting, and customer programs while maintaining strong connections to industry partners, distributors, and end customers.

The ideal candidate brings deep industry experience, proven ability to manage large customer accounts, strong project costing and pricing expertise, and the capacity to make immediate connections in the market. This is a commercially-focused role with demonstrated success driving revenue growth, managing customer programs, and building long-term relationships with key accounts and ecosystem partners.

Location/Schedule: Macon, GA / 1st shift

Requirements

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships with major accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for critical customer programs and opportunities.
  • Manage all quoting, pricing, and proposal development; establish pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness with profitability.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities; develop territory and account plans with clear sales targets and strategy.
  • Partner with the Engineering Manager to provide technical input on customer projects, design feasibility, and custom product requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations on capacity planning, production schedules, and special customer program coordination.
  • Support major customer programs across data centers, critical infrastructure, industrial, telecom, and rental-power applications.
  • Manage supplier and distributor relationships; identify and cultivate ecosystem partnerships that support customer success and company growth.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management; track key metrics including win rates, deal size, and sales velocity.
  • Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows; build and maintain credibility as a trusted industry resource.
  • Provide regular sales reports to the Vice President of Operations including pipeline updates, major opportunities, customer feedback, and market intelligence.

Who You Are:
  • Minimum 10 years of outside sales experience in wholesale, manufacturing, or technical products, with proven track record of managing large accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Deep industry experience and established relationships within power generation, packaged power, generator industry, or related commercial equipment sectors
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing multi-million-dollar customer relationships and major program accounts
  • Strong expertise in project costing, pricing strategy, and commercial proposal development for complex, engineered solutions
  • Proven ability to work independently; capacity to identify and qualify opportunities and execute sales strategy with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to build credibility with customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Proficiency with CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent); familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) or document control systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical engineering discipline
