As the
In-Home Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team of In-Home Sales Representatives while helping them maximize their performance in the field.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead by example, work directly with your team on appointments, provide real-time coaching, and help close sales when needed.Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of In-Home Sales Representatives.
- Review appointments scheduled by the Inside Sales team and ensure proper lead management.
- Run a minimum of five sales appointments per week alongside sales representatives as a coaching and training opportunity.
- Provide in-home support to representatives by assisting with presentations, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and implement strategies to achieve company goals.
- Conduct cancel-save appointments to recover potential lost sales.
- Partner with the Rehash Manager to revisit previous opportunities and maximize closing percentages.
- Prepare and lead ongoing sales meetings, product training, and professional development sessions.
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards for the sales team.
- Analyze sales metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and goal-oriented sales culture.
Qualifications- 5+ years of successful home improvement sales experience, preferably within the one-day bath or remodeling industry.
- Minimum 2 years of sales management or leadership experience preferred.
- Proven ability to recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and business development abilities.
- Experience managing performance through coaching, accountability, and motivation.
- Comfortable using technology, including iPads, CRM platforms, and electronic contract systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
