Industrial Sales Lead
Why This Role Matters

The Industrial Sales Lead is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving growth across the Permatex Industrial/MRO channel. You will lead relationships with major national industrial distributors, develop strategic account plans, and lead the Industrial National Account Manager team.

This role has a direct impact on revenue growth, customer partnerships, market expansion, and the continued growth of the Permatex and Fast Orange product portfolios.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the Industrial/MRO sales channel and deliver revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Own strategic relationships with major national industrial distributors, including Grainger, ORS Nasco, Fastenal, and MSC.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Industrial National Account Management team.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, joint business plans, sales programs, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify and capture growth opportunities across new locations, product categories, customers, and distribution channels.
  • Build strong relationships with senior-level distributor and channel partner stakeholders.
  • Lead business reviews, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and joint planning with key accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and investments while protecting profitability and margins.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams to support new product launches and identify customer product needs.
  • Expand the Permatex and Fast Orange portfolios within strategic industrial accounts.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, sales pipelines, forecasts, and account activity using Covera/Pipeliner and other sales technology.
  • Evaluate market opportunities and develop strategies to expand Permatex's presence within the Industrial/MRO market.
  • Support annual and long-range sales planning for the Industrial channel.
  • Travel up to 50% to support customers, distributors, and business growth.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of industrial, MRO, B2B, or distributor sales experience.
  • Proven success managing large, complex national accounts and distributor relationships.
  • Experience working with major industrial distributors such as Grainger, Fastenal, MSC, ORS Nasco, or similar organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial/MRO markets, including manufacturing, oil and gas, or related industrial channels.
  • Experience establishing products on preferred vendor lists, approved product lists, or distributor programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans and sales growth strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and make sound business decisions.
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools such as Covera/Pipeliner, Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint/Teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and prioritize multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
