The opportunityAltruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we're excited to hire a Sales Executive to join our growing Client Development team. In this role, you'll build a deep understanding of the Altruist platform and clearly position its capabilities to financial advisors. You'll use consultative selling to build trust, educate advisors, and guide them through the buying process to acquire, retain, and expand business. You'll also help create predictable, scalable growth by sharing advisor feedback, meeting sales service-level agreements, and continuously improving how the team works.
Your impact- Deliver results and demonstrate our core values while achieving individual quarterly and annual quota and supporting the success of the broader sales team.
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of the Altruist platform and effectively position Altruist, the platform, and specific features such as the rebalancer and Model Marketplace.
- Leverage consultative selling skills to build trust with advisors, educate them, and guide them through the buying process to acquire, retain, and expand business.
- Systematically capture advisor feedback to help inform company priorities, including the product roadmap and marketing campaigns.
- Proactively identify ways to improve the sales team while meeting sales service-level agreements and maintaining accurate, complete records in Salesforce.
- Demonstrate coachability and a growth mindset by absorbing and applying feedback from sales leadership to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
What you bring- Experience - At least 5 years of experience as an independent financial advisor, as a sales professional at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization, or as a consultant specializing in financial services at a top-tier management consulting firm.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong consultative sales skills.
- The ability to quickly understand complex product features and articulate how they create value for customers.
- Education - Ideally, a B.A./B.S. degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Economics, etc.
- Securities licenses - Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Technical aptitude - Technologically savvy and able to quickly get up to speed on modern tech stacks, including AI and agentic workflows

CompensationThis role has a target compensation range of $265,000-$285,000 OTE (base + variable). Final level and compensation is individualized and will be determined based on overall experience, qualifications, and interview performance.
