Sales Enablement ManagerPosition OverviewThe Sales Enablement Manager is the force multiplier for Gen II's Business Development organization. This hire owns the full enablement lifecycle: onboarding every new BD hire, building and maintaining playbooks, running training cadences, and managing the day-to-day operation of the sales tech stack. The goal is simple - ensure that every BD rep ramps faster, executes more consistently, and has the tools and content they need to win.
Key Responsibilities:Market Research and Intelligence- Pull and synthesize intelligence from With Intelligence, Preqin, Pitchbook, Convergence, 9AT
- Build account profiles and identify business triggers (CFO moves, fund launches, fundraising signals)
- Feed leads and insights to BD reps; keep account data fresh and actionable in Salesforce
Sales Content Creator- Build sales collateral: one-pagers, case studies, battle cards, email sequences, decks
- Maintain knowledge repository: playbooks, Salesforce/Outreach guides, best practices, competitive intel
- Update content based on BD feedback and win/loss data
Tool Adoption & Optimization- Own day-to-day operation of Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Monitor tool adoption, identify gaps, and drive usage across the BD team
- Partner with Tech team on configurations, integrations, and workflow improvements
- Maintain tool training and documentation
Performance Reporting- Review rep performance: activity, conversion rates, pipeline, deal quality. Ensure data governance for accuracy and completeness to all data being used for reporting and calculations.
- Provide coaching post-campaigns/meetings; run weekly skills sessions and monthly training
- Build and share performance dashboards with leadership
- Identify performance gaps and deliver targeted coaching
Qualifications:- 4+ years in sales enablement, revenue operations, or senior BD/SDR role.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with Outreach, Salesforce, and sales data platforms.
- Strong at instructional design and content creation skills (playbooks, guides, training materials).
- Comfortable with data, reporting, and metric-driven decisions.
- Natural coach; strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
- Nice-to-have: Private equity/fund services background; experience with Preqin or similar data platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
