Sales Applications Specialist

What you will be doing

The Sales Applications Specialist supports the sales team by providing technical and application expertise for NIR and FTIR spectroscopy and Wet Chemistry solutions in the food and agriculture industries. This role plays a key part in both pre & post sales activities to ensure customers successfully evaluate, implement, and use their analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform sample testing, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concept analyses
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and customer engagements to support sales
  • Provide pre-sales guidance on solutions, applications, and technical capabilities
  • Support post-sales implementation, including setup and method development
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance customer analytical solutions
  • Train customers in instrumentation calibration and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams on applications, calibration, and customer needs
