OverviewTate Boys Tire & Auto Service has proudly served our community since 1936. We specialize in everything that rolls-from passenger and light truck tires to medium truck, industrial, agricultural tires, plus mechanical repairs like brakes, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
COMPENSATION: $70,000-$100,000/ year consisting of hourly + commissionWhat You'll DoAs a Service Advisor, you'll be the face of the shop-connecting customers with solutions and ensuring their vehicles stay safe and reliable.
Your daily responsibilities include:- Warmly greeting customers in person and by phone using our professional standards
- Listening carefully to customer concerns and thoroughly documenting their needs
- Reviewing service history, inspecting vehicles, and verifying repair requirements
- Recommending products and services confidently and clearly
- Accurately preparing quotes, timelines, and repair orders
- Communicating status updates throughout the day
- Reviewing completed work, explaining warranties, and handling checkout
- Following up on declined services and completed repairs to ensure satisfaction
- Tracking all returns, warranty parts, and core parts for each customer
- Supporting the team with other duties as needed
What You Bring to the Team- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor highly preferred but not required
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a process-driven environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!)
