Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences or related discipline required.
• 5 years' experience in Safety, including lead experience.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred.
• OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, OSHA 40hr training preferred.
• OSHA 500, CHST or ASP certifications preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety laws and regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, EPA and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and inspections, recommending correction of hazardous situations for compliance.
• Develop reports and presentations for safety briefings with management.
• Provide strategic direction to improve Environmental, Health and Safety performance.
• Implement safety manual and ensure compliance among field employees and subcontractors.
• Oversee compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Guide departmental processes and investigate accidents for safety improvements.
• Participate in recruitment and hiring for safety roles.
