Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor with preference given to those with previous experience in Oil & Gas. If you are passionate about safety and safe work practices, this may be the perfect position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee safety policies and procedures for industrial sites
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents, preparing detailed reports with recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian occupational health and safety laws, including provincial regulations (e.g., Alberta OHS)
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote a safety-first culture
  • Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on-site
