Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Dentistry, we encourage you to bring your skills and passion to our growing practice.What You'll Do:
- Assist with comprehensive dental procedures, including dental cleanings, dental radiography, and advanced dental surgical assistance.
- Monitor anesthesia during dental surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide hands-on surgical preparation and recovery care for dental patients.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics as needed.
- Calculate and administer medications and fluids under DVM direction.
- Maintain and sterilize dental and surgical instruments.
- Educate and engage with pet parents regarding post-procedure care and dental health maintenance.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care and create a positive, low-stress experience.
What We're Looking For:- Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California or eligible for transfer.
- Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Dentistry is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience in anesthesia monitoring, dental radiographs, and dental cleanings.
- Passion for patient care and providing exceptional client service.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Schedule:- 8 to 10-hour shifts depending on caseload.
