Full Job Description
ROW Supervisor

Confidential Search • Recruiting for 2027 Projects

We're building the bench for a substantial slate of utility infrastructure work landing in 2027 (electric transmission and distribution, substations, telecom and fiber, water, wastewater, gas, renewables, and transportation projects) and are looking to start connecting with folks before the work hits.

The Opportunity

The ROW Supervisor is the senior field voice on our right-of-way projects; the person landowners, clients, and field crews turn to when a negotiation gets complicated or a project needs a steady hand. You'll take on the toughest acquisitions, mentor the Land Representatives around you, and keep execution on track from the field up.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day right-of-way acquisition on assigned projects, from first landowner contact through executed agreement.
  • Take on the most complex negotiations: difficult ownership situations, valuation disputes, and stakeholder concerns that don't move on their own.
  • Mentor and coach Land Representatives through hands-on guidance and on-the-job training.
  • Coordinate closely with Title Services, GIS, survey, engineering, environmental, and construction teams so the pieces move together, not past each other.
  • Represent the company at public meetings, stakeholder discussions, and with landowners, attorneys, and agencies.
  • Review acquisition packages for accuracy, and keep negotiation logs and project documentation current.
  • Monitor schedules, flag risk early, and support condemnation activity when required.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of right-of-way acquisition or utility land services experience.
  • A track record of negotiating complex property acquisitions, including the ones other people couldn't close.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate project activity, no formal title required to do it.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate principles, title research, easement acquisition, and property rights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the willingness to travel extensively.

Nice to Have

  • A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, land management, or a related field.
  • SR/WA designation, or progress toward one.
  • Experience leading large utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience supporting eminent domain proceedings.
  • Knowledge of GIS, title research, survey, and utility engineering processes.
