Route Supervisor - Full-Time, Hourly

South San Francisco, CA

Pay Range

$82,000 - $90,000 per year or more

What You'll Do

As a Route Supervisor, you'll lead by example while supporting both customers and service team members throughout the South San Francisco area

Your responsibilities include:

Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Coach, train, and support route service representatives to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment
  • Help improve route efficiency and daily operations
  • Partner with branch leadership to achieve operational goals


Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

  • Build long-term relationships with restaurant, hospitality, and commercial customers
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality service on every visit
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services that benefit customers. (Sales experience is a plus but not required.)


Oversee Route Operations

  • Manage service schedules and route performance
  • Complete preventative maintenance on commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform mechanical repairs after training
  • Deliver cleaning and sanitation products while educating customers on proper product usage
  • Monitor route performance and communicate results with branch leadership
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency customer support

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Lifting and transporting up to 70 pounds of cleaning chemicals
  • Working in a physically active environment, indoors and outdoors
  • Climbing stairs at customer locations
  • Driving throughout the South San Francisco service area
  • Working a typical 45-50-hour workweek, including overtime and occasional on-call responsibilities
