Inside the Role

As an IT RPA Engineer responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Robotics Process Automation using Blue Prism, UiPath and Power Platform tools. The Engineer helps the team to work together in an agile fashion, to jointly develop and own the solution, and to interface with other parts of the application landscape. The RPA Engineer will be looked upon to be an evangelist for new or different technologies, processes or solutions that contribute toward the realization of domain strategies.

What You Drive at DTFS

Service & Incident Management

  • Design, develop and enhance RPA application Use Cases, including full life cycle of applications development.
  • Act as the primary owner of Incident Management
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve incidents (including rootcause analysis)
  • Ensure the smooth execution of daily RPA Use Cases supporting various Daimler Truck regions.
  • Coordinate across departments for incidents and change requests
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting (transaction volume, costs, stability, performance)
  • Manage and guide first-level support in markets and serve as the main contact for all incidents
  • Ensure continuous business operations and minimize disruption

Release Management

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate RPA Use Case program releases
  • Ensure documentation and quality gates requirements are met
  • Prepare release notes in collaboration with markets, business units, and development partners

Operational Excellence

  • Continuously improve operational processes using agile 5inspect & adapt6 principles
  • Support ongoing optimization of operational stability, scalability, and performance

Integration & Interface Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of interfaces between:
    • RPA Use Cases and interfacing applications.
    • End-user applications with various domains.
  • Support onboarding of new partners and ensure endtoend system stability
  • Work closely with Business Operations, Product Owners, QA, InfraOps, and IT Architecture teams

CrossFunctional & International Collaboration

  • Work in a highly international environment
  • Engage with markets, business stakeholders, and internal/external IT teams


Knowledge You Should Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor6s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or 6 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Commitment to continuous learning and upskilling with emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of Release Management, including upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
