Job Description

DUTIES: Lead a robotics team at DHAM. Support plant new launches at body shop and General Assembly. Design and integrate buy offs at strategic suppliers' shops. Tool installation in the plant and coordinating strategic suppliers. Support cycle time competition for all automatic cells. Provide PFS information required for uppers monitoring systems of GM. Manage crashing spare parts lists from order to use in the launch process at DHAM plant. Support plant production running in catastrophic failures. Administrate strategic suppliers working in plant launches. Administrate robot ordering and delivering to plant. Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high-quality parts. Manage deliveries to program timing milestones. Provide project report outs to senior management. Communicate effectively and work collaborate with all customers and plants. Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers. 25%-50%travel required to client sites nationwide.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Three (3) years of experience as a Robotic Lead Project Engineer, or related occupation. Must also have three (3) years of experience with: Robotic Programming standards including path segments, decision codes and styles; Bodyshop processing standards and Bodyshop programs; and Programming and troubleshooting robots and equipment. One (1) year of experience with: Specifying Fanuc Robots; Specifying SCA Schucker Dispense Equipment; and General Assembly processing standards and GA programs.
