Description

Design the Future of Virginia's Transportation with RDA

Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a motivated Roadway Engineer (Technical Lead) to join our growing Transportation team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys roadway design and is looking to take the next step into technical leadership and mentoring.

You'll have the opportunity to work on impactful transportation projects throughout Virginia while helping develop junior engineers and helping grow RDA's presence in the region.

What You'll Do:
  • Design transportation infrastructure: Develop roadway designs, plan sets, and supporting documentation for VDOT and local agency projects.
  • Deliver quality solutions: Prepare engineering calculations, estimates, and construction documents in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with engineers, planners, clients, and project stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
  • Build your leadership skills: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Expand your impact: Support project delivery activities while growing into increased technical and project responsibilities.
  • Support a growing office: Help strengthen RDA's mentoring capacity as the team continues to expand.


What You'll Need:
