Full Job Description
Seeking a Road Construction Project Manager to join the team in the Shreveport, LA area. This role leads end-to-end project delivery for roadway construction projects and offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact work in a safety-first, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do as the Road Construction Project Manager:
  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of road construction projects
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with DOT standards and applicable environmental regulations
  • Oversee job site safety practices and enforce company policies
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and equipment logistics
  • Monitor material usage, procurement, and cost control measures
  • Resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide consistent progress updates

Must-Haves as the Road Construction Project Manager:
  • 5+ years of experience managing road or heavy civil construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of DOT specifications and roadway construction practices
  • Experience with asphalt and/or concrete paving operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice-to-Haves as the Road Construction Project Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
