Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

  • Applies nursing process to direct patient care through assessment, analysis of collected data, development of a plan of care and implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relation to intended goal.
  • Provides adequate information and instruction to the patient, family and significant other.
  • Performs in-depth assessment of patients and is able to correlate information to plan for the provision of needs in the Recovery Room department.
  • Recognizes safety hazards and initiates appropriate preventative and/or corrective actions to ensure a safe environment for the patient and surgical team throughout the perioperative experience.
  • Provides exposure through appropriate use of instruments, retractors, suctioning and sponging techniques.
  • Evaluates the outcomes of nursing care and ensures continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information to PACU staff.

Shift: 6:45am - 5:15pm

Core Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri
