Annual Salary: $99,840-$104,000As an
RN Unit Manager at Complete Care at Clark, you will play a key leadership role in the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit. You will lead and support nursing staff, oversee resident care, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
We are looking for an
RN Unit Manager who is confident leading a team, understands the clinical needs of a skilled nursing population, and can effectively manage the many moving parts of a busy nursing unit.
RN Unit Manager Qualifications- Current, unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required
- Previous RN Unit Manager, Unit Manager, Nurse Manager, or similar nursing leadership experience strongly preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support nursing staff
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities- Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned skilled nursing unit
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff
- Monitor resident care and ensure nursing services are delivered according to established standards
- Conduct regular nursing rounds and follow up on resident care needs
- Review clinical documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion
- Monitor medication administration, treatments, assessments, and other clinical services
- Assist with staff education, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding clinical care
- Collaborate with the DON and ADON regarding staffing, clinical concerns, and resident needs
- Identify opportunities to improve quality of care and resident outcomes
- Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and clinical emergencies
- Support survey readiness and quality assurance initiatives
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator
