RN Unit Manager - Memory Care Unit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager on our Memory Care Unit at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a leader on our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, while also fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Memory Care Unit, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care and services
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the highest level of care
  • Monitor and evaluate the unit's quality of care, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and communication

Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license
  • Minimum 0 years of experience, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in a long-term care setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
