Responsibilities Assessment & Prioritization Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments to determine clinical needs and prioritize care appropriately. Conducts risk assessments to identify potential complications and initiates timely interventions. Specimen Collection & Processing Collects correct and adequate blood and urine specimens as ordered by physicians, following proper techniques and safety procedures. Accurately labels specimens and completes all required processing steps to ensure integrity and traceability. Ensures appropriate and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory, coordinating courier transport or outside-agency pickup when required. Documentation & Communication Maintains clear, complete, and timely documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe and coordinated care. Clinical Problem-Solving Applies strong problem-solving skills to evaluate situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Equipment Operation & Skill Proficiency Operates clinical equipment safely and competently, ensuring proper function and reporting malfunctions promptly. Maintains proficiency in required clinical procedures and adheres to established standards of practice.
