Responsibilities

  • Work 0.875 FTE, totaling 70 hours over two weeks.
  • Perform 10-hour shifts from 7:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Participate in 2-3 weeknight call shifts after scheduled shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiotesting, Pre Op, and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams.
  • Focus exclusively on duties within the EP Lab, conducting studies and procedures.

Join Our Electrophysiology Nursing Team

Emplify Health by Gundersen Electrophysiology Lab in La Crosse, Wisconsin is growing-and we're excited to welcome a passionate RN to our team.

What you will do:
  • 0.875 FTE; 70 hours every two weeks
  • 10-hour shifts (7:00am - 5:00pm)
  • Full-time orientation
  • Call Shifts - Approximately 2-3 weeknight call shift (after a scheduled shift)
  • No overnight or weekend call, no holidays
  • Collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and the Cardiothoracic Surgery teams
  • This position is working in the EP lab only.
  • The EP Lab performs electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator insertions.

  • 2 years RN experience, experience caring for cardiac patients required
  • BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification a plus
