Responsibilities:

The PRESNowRegistered Nurse (RN) is responsible for:
  • Providing direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation using the nursing process.
  • Prioritizing and coordinating patient care in collaboration with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Performing and documenting patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, and implementing evidence-based protocols and standards of care.
  • Monitoring patient progress, evaluating outcomes, and facilitating patient/family education and discharge planning.
  • Responding effectively to emergency situations and assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural interventions.
  • Delegating and supervising patient care activities in accordance with staff competencies and scope of practice.
  • Serving as a clinical resource, mentor, and professional role model for team members, new hires, and students.
  • Maintaining required competencies, certifications, licensure, and continuing education while adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and departmental activities that support exceptional patient care.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Differentials: $2 ED/$3 weekend/$5 nights/$8 weekend nights/$2 BSN/$4 MSN/$1 specialty certification, up to 2

Schedule/shift: Full-time/Night/7:00 pm-7:00 am
