Full Job Description
Full Time | 40/hrs week | Mon. - Fri. | 5:30am - 2:00pm (8-hour a day)

No weekends or holidays, except on-call

The Weinberg Adult Prep/PACU at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive pre- and post-anesthesia care, as well as extended observation for adult surgical patients. Nurses support a variety of surgical specialties including thoracic, gastrointestinal, plastics, ENT, endocrine, oncology, and general surgery This dynamic unit offers opportunities to deliver high-acuity, patient-centered care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
  • RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
  • 1 year of nursing experience (Highly Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
