Job Description:

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm, rotating endoscopy call

Sign on Bonus: $20,000 for eligible candidates

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.Collects patient health data systematically and documents relevant information.
  • Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
  • Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.
  • Educates patients on procedures, answers related questions, and ensures patient safety throughout care.
  • Assists with patient preparation for surgery, including starting IVs, documenting pertinent information, and reporting critical values.
  • Ensures accurate and complete handoff to/from surgery, including verifying consent and compliance with hospital policy.
  • Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
  • Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
  • Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes systematically, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
  • Administers medications accurately and in compliance with policy.
  • Demonstrates competent technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used in the Surgical Services department.

Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:
• 1+ years experience Med-Surgical, Surgical, or endoscopy nursing [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)[Preferred]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)[Preferred]
• Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred]
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
• Acute/Critical Care Nursing - Adult (CCRN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$31.44 - $54.92
