About the RoleAs an
Outpatient Oncology RN / Case Manager, you will provide direct oncology and infusion care while helping coordinate and support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role blends
hands-on clinical excellence with
case management, education, and community connection.
Oncology or infusion experience is preferred-but we will train a strong RN who is eager to grow in this specialty.Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side-effect management, and symptom control
- Participate in case management functions, including care coordination and patient follow-up
- Support program development, performance improvement, and cost-effective clinic operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
What We're Looking ForEducation / Licensure / Certification- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Hawai'i State RN license
- BLS/HCP certification required
- ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire
Experience & Skills- Oncology and/or infusion experience preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build and sustain positive professional relationships
- Willingness to train and grow in an outpatient oncology setting
Physical & Work Environment RequirementsPhysical Demands (Essential Functions):- Seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting
- Fine motor skills and finger dexterity
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
Work Conditions:- Primarily clinic-based with exposure to clinical and environmental conditions
- Use of standard clinical and office equipment
