Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Shift: Monday-Friday 0630-1500
Location: AdventHealth Winter Garden
Primary Job Responsibilities: - Provide emotional support to patients and families, demonstrating AdventHealth's commitment to compassionate, whole-person care.
- Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments and personnel.
- Support surgical teams by preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain sterility in the surgical field and anticipate the needs of surgeons and scrub techs.
- Assist in specimen collection, labeling, and handling according to AdventHealth policies.
- Participate in counts (sponges, sharps, instruments) to ensure patient safety.
- Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the delivery of nursing services.
- Maintains safe practice by demonstrating unit-specific clinical competency and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Ensures safe and effective handoff communications and documentation between caregivers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required]
Education: - Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience: - 1+ experience RN experience
Surgery experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications: - Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:$33.08 - $58.04
