RN Nurse Manager - Post-Acute Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care

An established post-acute care organization is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, developing clinical teams, and creating a positive environment for patients, families, and staff.

In this role, you will provide operational and clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary nursing team while ensuring excellence in patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and overall unit performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support personnel.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource allocation to support quality patient care.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, patient safety, and service excellence.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, social workers, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development activities.

  • Support budget management and operational goals while maintaining high standards of care.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License.

  • Experience with accreditation, quality programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
