As an RN Nurse Investigator, you will conduct thorough investigations into resident incidents, complaints, and regulatory concerns to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive investigations into resident incidents, complaints, and regulatory concerns
- Gather and analyze data, interview staff, residents, and families, and prepare clear, timely reports with recommendations for corrective action
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, including CMS guidelines and DOH reporting and investigation standards
- Collaborate with other disciplines to meet the needs of residents
- Manage conflict, advise, and coach staff and residents
- Utilize excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
Requirements:- Registered Nurse (RN) active license required
- CPR certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, long-term care, or related healthcare setting recommended
- Knowledge of theory, practice, and principles of investigations recommended
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines and DOH reporting and investigation standards recommended
