Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Hiring range: Starting at $38.50/hr.
Registered Nurses (RN's) are eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked.
- Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
- Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
- Weekend day shift - an additional 10%
- Weekend evening & night shifts - an additional 21%
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Complexity of Work:• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Education: • High School Diploma/GED required • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
