RN First Assistant - Operating Room at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Provides surgical first assistant, scrub, and/or circulating nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures, and assists surgical team as needed in any other capacity according to established procedures. Participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of RNFA course.
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years Experience.
  • Recent RN clinical experience in the operating room.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
