Full Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient-centered care.

  • Adheres to established Hospital/departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Assessment and Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards, Nurse Practices Act and Patient's Bill of Rights.
  • Applies clinical knowledge and expertise for coordinating patient care by regularly planning and evaluating the care of patients.
  • Establishes and maintains professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate, while assuring confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Demonstrates effective nursing judgement and a working knowledge of the nursing process.
  • Provides guidance to interdisciplinary team members by supervising nursing interventions and assisting with related tasks.
  • Provides leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating nursing care.

 

We are not currently accepting new graduate or new to speciality applications.   The most current information for new graduate (<12 months experience as an RN) and fellowship programs  (>12 months experience as an RN) can be found at  National Nurse Residency Program .

Job Requirements

Required

  • Successful completion of an accredited/approved Nursing program
  • Minimum 3 years current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area
  • Current and Active Registered Nurse
  • AHA Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Day
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 6 - months
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days 
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 6 - months 

Preferred

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing, upon hire and
  • Experience with EHR (Cerner, MediTech, etc)
  • Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, upon hire
