Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in acute care, home care, or public health administration.
• 2 years of experience in staff development, specifically in educational roles.
• Teaching experience in acute care, home health, or public health environments is essential.
• Current Connecticut RN License and a valid Driver's License are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new education programs tailored for different PSA offices.
• Plan and implement cost-effective educational initiatives for the Hospice department.
• Provide comprehensive orientation and clinical in-service training for staff.
• Create an evaluation system to assess the effectiveness of educational activities.
• Collaborate with management on educational assessments and outcomes.
• Review and update policies to adhere to relevant regulations.
• Support clinical supervisors in understanding quality and regulatory components.
• Engage in quality initiatives relevant to the organization's goals.
• Ensure educational resources are accessible to all staff members.
• Communicate effectively with diverse clients and adapt to their specific needs.
