Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in Cath Lab nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience as a traveler in Cath Lab nursing is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of invasive cardiology procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

  • Assess and position patients for cardiology procedures
  • Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamics
  • Document and implement the care plan for patients
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status
  • Facilitate and perform diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures
  • Prepare and manage required equipment and supplies for procedures

RN Cath Lab
Elgin, IL, 60123 - Onsite
3 months+ Contract

Experience Level: 3-7 years

Department: Invasive Cardiology Anc
Shift Timings: Morning Shift 07:00 - 15:30 Hours (8 hours/5 Days)
Per Week: 40 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities
Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
