RN Full-time & Part-time Shifts Available:

Full-time: 7:00pm - 7:30am (Every other Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri & Weekend
Part-time: 7:00pm-7:30am (Every other Mon, Wed, Fri; Every Thurs)

Pay: RN $35 - $45 / hour based on years of experience
($2,500 sign-on bonus paid in installments)

(Evening/night shift differential included)

Blakehurst is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. The RN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
  • Administers direct care as necessary.
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients.
  • Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
  • Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
  • Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.

Other Duties:
  • Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.
  • Responds to resident emergency call system.
  • Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
  • Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
  • Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence.
  • Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
  • Assists with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
  • Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.

Qualifications
  • All nurses must be currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we request vaccination status that he/she had testing done for measles, mumps, rubella, & varicella (MMRV) to ensure immunity.
